In this lesson, we will hunt for fun facts about gray wolves, while studying their social structure, behavior, and ecology. We will investigate the human-wolf conflict, habitat loss, and laws concerning these endangered animals. Learners can expect a blend of PowerPoint visuals and engaging discussions along with a few myths sprinkled in! Students should expect to have a solid understanding of reverse trophic cascades, food chains, the landscape of Yellowstone National Park, and the biology and behavior of grey wolves. Students will improve their understanding of the legal process, and practice critical thinking skills.
